Position Overview:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at TazaMall.com will oversee the company’s financial operations, including financial planning, risk management, record-keeping, financial reporting, and investor relations. The CFO will work closely with the CEO and other executives to ensure the financial health of the company, implement sound financial strategies, and provide critical insights to drive business growth and profitability.
Core Responsibilities:
- Financial Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s overall business goals and objectives.
- Provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis, trends, and forecasts to support long-term business growth.
- Evaluate financial performance and make recommendations to optimize profitability, cash flow, and cost efficiency.
- Ensure the company’s financial operations are in line with industry best practices, corporate policies, and legal regulations.
- Financial Management and Reporting:
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and other reports to keep senior management informed of the company’s financial position.
- Ensure accurate, timely, and comprehensive financial reporting in accordance with local regulations and accounting standards.
- Supervise the accounting department to ensure the integrity of the financial records and compliance with financial policies and regulations.
- Risk Management:
- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks that could impact the company’s assets, operations, or reputation.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to protect the organization’s financial health.
- Monitor the company’s insurance policies and ensure adequate coverage for potential risks.
- Cash Flow and Capital Management:
- Ensure effective management of cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to meet operational and growth needs.
- Oversee capital expenditures, investment planning, and financial modeling to optimize resource allocation.
- Manage relationships with banks, investors, and financial institutions to secure funding for expansion, operations, and strategic investments.
- Financial Forecasting and Budgeting:
- Lead the development of the company’s annual budget and financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and objectives.
- Track and analyze financial performance against the budget and forecasts, providing recommendations for corrective action where necessary.
