Position Overview:
The Chief Development Officer (CDO) at TazaMall.com will oversee the company’s growth initiatives, including business development, partnerships, strategic initiatives, and innovation. The CDO will be responsible for identifying and creating new opportunities that drive long-term growth, while ensuring that the company’s business development and expansion strategies are effectively implemented. The CDO will work closely with the CEO and other executives to define, lead, and execute on TazaMall’s development goals.


Core Responsibilities:

  1. Business Development Strategy:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to support the company’s growth goals, focusing on both short-term and long-term objectives.
    • Identify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships, including market entry strategies, new product/service offerings, and business models.
    • Create and manage relationships with key external partners, including vendors, investors, stakeholders, and potential clients.
    • Lead efforts to explore new revenue streams, business models, and monetization opportunities for TazaMall.
  2. Market Expansion:
    • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to develop effective market expansion strategies.
    • Identify and evaluate opportunities for expanding TazaMall’s reach, both geographically and demographically.
    • Oversee the implementation of new market entry plans, ensuring alignment with business goals and operational capabilities.
  3. Strategic Partnerships & Alliances:
    • Identify and pursue strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and acquisitions that will help TazaMall grow and enhance its competitive edge.
    • Build and maintain relationships with potential business partners, investors, and key industry players to drive long-term collaborations.
    • Negotiate and structure partnership agreements and manage ongoing partner relationships.
  4. Innovation and Product Development:
    • Lead innovation efforts and product development strategies to ensure that TazaMall remains competitive and responsive to changing market demands.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new product offerings, enhance current services, and create unique value propositions.
    • Continuously assess and improve the company’s offerings based on customer feedback, market trends, and emerging technologies.
  5. Revenue Growth & Profitability:
    • Collaborate with the CFO and other executives to establish and execute revenue growth strategies that increase company profitability.
    • Focus on maximizing both top-line growth and bottom-line profitability by balancing aggressive development with fiscal responsibility.
    • Oversee pricing strategies, sales channels, and revenue models to ensure alignment with TazaMall’s overall business objectives.
  6. Leadership and Team Management:
    • Lead and build a high-performing development team, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and excellence.
    • Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for team members to grow within the organization.
    • Set clear performance goals and expectations for the development team, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall strategic objectives.
  7. Financial and Operational Management:
    • Work closely with the finance team to ensure that all business development and growth initiatives are budgeted, tracked, and executed within the financial framework of the company.
    • Oversee the development and tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of development initiatives.
    • Ensure effective resource allocation and optimization to achieve development objectives while maintaining operational efficiency.
  8. Investor and Stakeholder Relations:
    • Develop and maintain relationships with investors, board members, and other key stakeholders to ensure they are informed and engaged with the company’s development progress.
    • Participate in investor presentations, board meetings, and strategic discussions to update stakeholders on development strategies and results.
    • Address any concerns or opportunities raised by investors and stakeholders, ensuring that TazaMall maintains a positive reputation in the marketplace.
  9. Data-Driven Decision Making:
    • Use market research, industry insights, and data analytics to inform decision-making and improve the effectiveness of development strategies.

    • Establish and manage metrics to track the success of development initiatives and adjust strategies as needed.
  10. Brand Positioning and Market Perception:
